From a TV viewer's perspective yes I get it but from the team's perspective makes more sense to be on the same day.

From a TV viewer's perspective yes I get it but from the team's perspective makes more sense to be on the same day.
The TV viewership perspective argument is weak, so called “prime time” games can be an issue depending on time zones, age, family, work.

But the second semi staying in same city cancels it out?
CIV made it to the finals with -3 GD and 33.3% success rate in group stage. Has a team with the same or worse record ever made it to a finals of a tournament with 16 or more teams?
