Poland is at the point were west / est force equalize so it's normal they don't go in any direction. To me the british one is stranger as is not the same as any of it neighbors (even across the channel / sea).

It's also interesting that the average salary in Denmark is about 1.5 more than the average salary in Sweden.

I found long comparisons very interesting. Re. economy we always focus on quarterly growth, at best annual growth, but I always found interesting to look at figures on a larger scale.

Eg. GDP for the Eurozone countries (2019 vs 2000, i.e 19 years)

(only Eurozone countries to avoid the FX effects who can bring some biases)

Code: Select all

1970	1980	1990	2000	2010	2019 2019/2000 2019/2010

1261	1677	2111	2556	2783	3232	-	GER	-	26%	-	16%
821	1172	1497	1845	2089	2349	-	FRA	-	27%	-	12%
763	1109	1405	1660	1713	1727	-	ITA	-	4%	-	1%
349	498	665	875	1079	1194	-	ESP	-	36%	-	11%
251	336	419	581	665	755	-	NED	-	30%	-	14%
155	217	264	330	391	444	-	BEL	-	35%	-	14%
122	174	217	280	327	374	-	AUT	-	34%	-	14%
32	51	73	143	190	336	-	IRL	-	135%	-	77%
71	103	141	177	211	230	-	FIN	-	30%	-	9%
60	95	131	174	187	200	-	POR	-	15%	-	7%
10	13	21	35	45	58	-	LUX	-	66%	-	29%
						-
3895	5445	6944	8656	9680	10899	-	Total	-	26%	-	13%
Interesting to see that Italy's GDP in 2019 is more or less at the same level as in the year 2000, whereas the growth of the Eurozone (11 founders) is 13% in the same period.

Ireland being the big winner

Is there a map that shows the directions of the hot and the cold water in taps in each country? ;)
I noticed that it's not the same in different places.
I'm used to having cold water to the right and hot water to the left. How it is in your home?
