Alonso 3rd, Max 4th, Sainz 5th. 5 different teams.

Russell 11th.
Points are made in the race, and so who's on top :)

Weird day for Hamilton, second in Sprint race and a couple of hours later not getting passed Q1 :(
Oh I fully expected Max to win, but everything else was up for grabs. And at least we get to see Max actually have to overtake people.

Had lots to watch today, finally got to watch the qualifying.

There was less than a second between 1st and 19th in Q1!

Hamilton 18th. Norris 4th, Russell 8th.

Norris from 4th to 2nd, Russell from 8th to 6th and Hamilton from 19th to 9th. Excellent. And congratulations to Driver of the Day Norris! He's doing great. :smile1:

U18 ice hockey team did great today, crushed Romania 9-2 and scored some great, well worked goals.

Poland and Netherlands both have 3/3 wins, they'll play each other tonight. I guess we need a Dutch win, then beat them and hope it's enough. Head to head is first tie break, so it's impossible if Poland win.

As I suspected we had to win that first game. Poland won 3-0 and are promoted. Let's see if we can get 2nd.

Conor McGregor's UFC 303 return sets ticket prices soaring to astronomical levels

"With prices soaring up to a staggering $12,000 per seat...However, it's the enigmatic "elite" package that captures attention, with its undisclosed price tag hinting at exclusivity beyond reach for most."

Insane, only in America. I hope Chandler knocks him out fast and this circus will be over for good.

U18 ice hockey team crushed the Dutch 9-1. They really grew into this tournament, perhaps things might have been different if we hadn't played Poland first. It is what it is, but very encouraging tournament overall. :applause:

2023-24 Euroleague play-offs:
Three out of four clubs (Panathinaikos, AS Monaco and Barcelona) lost the home advantage in the first matches of the play-offs. Only Real Madrid managed to beat Basconia at home.
The second matches start today.

Maybe he won't be in the best car for much longer. Newey is leaving Red Bull:

While checking some stuff about the Olympics, I found out that boxing was about to be expelled because the "FIFA of boxing" (IBA) being pro-Russia and even electing a friend of Putin as president. So World Boxing was established in April 23 by a bunch of national federations, and the IOC stripped IBA of its status as recognized governing body for boxing in June 23.

This is the first time a governing body is expelled from the IOC and replaced.

Oh what a dream that would be for football. FIFA just did a deal with Saudi's state owned oil company to be sponsor of the 2026 World Cup and the Women's World Cup 2027.

They don't give a fuck anymore because there's no consequences to anything they do so they just do whatever they want.

England have triumphed 21-42 in France to again win the Women's Six Nations and Grand Slam! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Ireland somehow came 3rd despite that absolute mauling England gave them and finishing last last year, which means they qualify for the World Cup and WXV-1 as they changed the rules that top 3 in the Six Nations play in that. Ireland were in WXV-3 last year! The promotions and relegations are now based on where you came from rather than teams so Ireland winning WXV-3 last year meant an extra European place in WXV-2.

Apr.27. Las Vegas: poor card, no interesting fights

No big names, but 4 fighters got 50K bonuses for their performance of the night: Gluskov knocking out Spann in the 2nd round, Medic knocking out Means in the 1st, Diniz knocking out Lane in the 2nd and Perez knocking out Nicolau in the 2nd round.
