UEFA Executive administration matters
BBC reporting statute changes approved, however, Ceferin has announced he will not stand in 2027.

England stood alone as the only nation to oppose the rule change. Hope it doesn't count against us.
All the others are servants.
This Čeferin is ridiculous. He now says he knew for a long time he will not run again. Why was he pushing for a statute change then? Nobody believes him any more, the sooner he goes the better (just hope not into the local politics to also screw that up).

He won't run. That would wreck his reputation.krdel wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 20:11 All the others are servants.

He was reluctant to run in 2023!
He has done an excellent job; I hope his successor is equally able.

I'm pretty certain he will run again as it's an excellent position which will be hard to top. In 3 years he will just say that the circumstances have changed bla bla.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 20:32He won't run. He told the ExCo he was standing down at the meeting in December 2021 and they persuaded him to stay on for four more years.
I wouldn't be disappointed if he did 4 more years from 27-31. I won't be running against him and I'm not ready to be President in 2027. I will run in 2031 but won't stand against an incumbent president.
