CF Pachuca to host the single-leg Final at Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca, Mexico
Winner will be crowned regional Champion and claim the Confederation’s last slot in the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup
Miami, FL – Concacaf has confirmed that the 2024 Champions Cup Final between CF Pachuca (MEX) and Columbus Crew (USA) will be played on Saturday, June 1 at Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca, Mexico. The match is scheduled to kick off at 9:15 pm ET (7:15 pm local).
The Final will crown the Confederation’s new club champion and culminate a revamped 59th edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup. For the first time in its history, the competition included 27 of the best clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean and was played across five rounds.
CF Pachuca secured a spot in the Final on Tuesday night after defeating Club America 2-1 (3-2 on aggregate) in their return leg semifinal at Estadio Hidalgo. In their road to the Final, Pachuca eliminated CS Herediano of Costa Rica in the quarterfinals (7-1 on aggregate) and the Philadelphia Union (USA) in the Round of 16 (6-0 on aggregate). This will be Pachuca’s sixth Final, in which the club will look to retain their perfect record having won the 2002, 2007, 2008, 2009–10, and 2016–17 editions.
In the other semifinal, Columbus Crew earned a 3-1 victory over CF Monterrey to win its series, 5-2 on aggregate, on Wednesday night at Estadio BBVA in Monterrey, Mexico. The MLS club eliminated Tigres UANL, 4-3 on penalties (2-2 on aggregate) in the quarterfinals. As the MLS Cup champions, the Crew entered the competition in the Round of 16, where they defeated Houston Dynamo 2-1 on aggregate. This will be the first trip to the Concacaf Champions Cup Final for the Crew in its fifth tournament appearance.
The 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Final was originally scheduled for Sunday, June 2, but as previously communicated by the Confederation, due to Mexico's national elections taking place on the same day and CF Pachuca securing the hosting rights, it will be played on Saturday, June 1.

In the previous edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup, Club Leon of Mexico won its first continental title after defeating Los Angeles FC 3-1 in the Final on aggregate. By winning the title, Club Leon secured a berth in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup winner will join Club Leon (2023), Seattle Sounders FC (2022), and CF Monterrey (2021) as the Confederation’s four representatives in the new 32-team Club World Cup.
