All three other quarter finals required a deciding doubles rubber. Australia defeated the Czechs and Italy defeated the Dutch. Now it's our turn. Djokovic is here. But maybe we can win the other two?
The match without Djokovic goes to a tie break in the first set. Jack Draper has saved two set points.
Draper loses the tiebreak 7-2. Unfortunately the result isn't a surprise, as he had considerably greater difficulty holding his serve.
Here we are again. These two just cannot break each other. Another tiebreak...
This time it's not going to be so easy, 6-6...
But he still wins, 8-6. Norrie must beat Djokovic.
Djokovic wins 6-4 6-4.
I see you managed to win your singles match against Djokovic in the semis. Kecmanovic won his match, Djokovic just had to win his, he failed. That's gotta sting, when Norrie was facing him, they said he'd won 20 straight singles Davis Cup matches, and the loss prior to those was only because he got injured. So he was on a 21 streak coming in. And then Djokovic played in the doubles match and lost that too.
Sinner won twice in the last few weeks from Djoker.
Australian Open women's singles final is Sabalenka (2) v Zheng (12). Out of the 30 seeded women eliminated so far:
- 26 were beaten by non-seeds
- 3 were beated by Sabalenka (2)
- 1 was beaten by Azarenka (18)
If Sabalenka wins it would mean all other 31 seeds were either beaten by a non-seed or by a Belarussian.
Zheng has beaten 6 non-seeds so far and the highest ranked player she faced was number 54.

Sinner beat Djokovic in 4 sets 6:1, 6:2, 6:7, 6:3 in the semifinal. First 2 sets Sinner dominated flat Djokovic who improved in the 3rd, but Sinner played really well.
