French Open just running, and I made an overview about nations still active in the Round of 32 in the women's event, which actually is the best german result ever in any Grand Slam. A bit selfish, I know, but hey, we had not much to celebrate the last 20 years. (I've skipped the men's results, maybe a french member wants to sum up, I counted 5 players already )

Biggest surprise so far Mirjana Lučić-Baroni who eleminated world's No.3 Simona Halep in straight sets. And the other croatian girl Donna Vekic is the only play from outside the Top 100 who reached R32. She climbed 44 places already.
And for the home fans : Mladenovic eleminating Top-Ten-Player & Starlet Bouchard and enters R32 as well.
