Wait? Why would they want to host a WWC in Saudi Arabia? They're not exactly known for women's football, they haven't even participated in any of the World Cup Qualifiers in the past!amenina wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 21:51 AFC voices support for Saudi Arabia 2034 World Cup bid as Indonesia pull out

The 2031 WWC bidding process will start after the 2027 WWC hosts are decided.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 22:27Wait? Why would they want to host a WWC in Saudi Arabia? If Belgium/Netherlands/Germany do not win in 2027, England likely will bid for 2031. If the BNG bid win, England will have to wait until at least 2035.
Also, other Asian countries are interested in bidding for WWC. Japan wanted to bid for 2023, but did not so as to support Australia/NZ, so they will likely bid for 2031. China has also expressed interest in bidding for 2031, and I would not be surprised if other countries such as South Korea and even India also throw their hat into the ring. If an Asian country win in 2031, then Saudi Arabia will have to wait until at least 2039. Alternatively, there will likely be many Asian bids for 2035.

There is no hard rule, but very unlikely the national FAs will vote for two consecutive WWC being hosted in the same confederation, so they are better off waiting for the next one without wasting energy and money,Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 11:07No rule that confederations can't host successive Women's World Cups!amenina wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 04:44The 2031 WWC bidding process will start after the 2027 WWC hosts are decided.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 22:27

Maybe Brussels for the final as they've never hosted a major final before and Netherlands and Germany have.amenina wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 13:35They will only decide on these things if they actually win the bid.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 13:28Who will get the final?amenina wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 13:15

Why not Berlin or Munich in Germany?

Anyway, why do Germany want to host again? They hosted in 2011!
Dortmund's stadium is still by far the biggest amongst proposed venues and way bigger than any BelgianJackson Harrison wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 13:41Maybe Brussels for the final as they've never hosted a major final before and Netherlands and Germany have.

Belgium are the least likely of the three to reach the final, so I would say not so likely.Jackson Harrison wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 13:41Maybe Brussels for the final as they've never hosted a major final before and Netherlands and Germany have.

So either Dortmund, who have the largest stadium, or Amsterdam.
