I just want this season to end. And it looks like the players feel the same. Except the penalty, the only shot on goal was a poor shot from 30 meters.
Rosenborgs non penalty xG in this match was 0,23... We're running around like headless chickens in our defensive play. Strømsgodset got to 23 shots in this match. 9 of them on goal.
It's the first time since 1983 that Rosenborg ends up on the lower half of the table. And it will be the worst season since the relegation in 1977.
Two Rosenborg legends said their goodbye to Lerkendal in this match. 36 yo midfielder Per Ciljan Skjelbred won't get his contract renewed. While veteran goalkeeper André Hansen leaves the club after 9 seasons. And joins Odd next season.
Personally I feel that Skjelbred should have gotten another year or two. He still shows that he has a lot to offer when he's been injury free for longer periods. While it's probably about time to say goodbye to Hansen. He has been on a decline for the last four seasons. After he pretty much secured both the league and cup title, as well as a EL group stage for the club back in 2018. Being named the Eliteserien player of the year that season.
Not just because he's been in decline. But 20 year old Sander Tangvik also looks like a proper goalkeeper talent. And to be honest, in Hansen's absence the last two months. Tangvik has proven that he's ready for the task. Many will claim that his performances have been better than those of Hansen this season.

Table after Round 29
Round 30
Sunday 3 December
17:00 Bodø/Glimt - Sarpsborg 08
17:00 Haugesund - Stabæk
17:00 Molde - HamKam
17:00 Odd - Aalesund
17:00 Sandefjord - Lillestrøm
17:00 Strømsgodset - Brann
17:00 Viking - Rosenborg
17:00 Vålerenga - Tromsø
The Vålerenga - Tromsø and Haugesund - Stabæk matches will get the most focus of course. Where both teams have something to play for. If Vålerenga or Sandefjord wins, Haugesund and Stabæk can't play for a draw. But should Lillestrøm and Tromsø go up to a two goal lead early on. I'm pretty sure both Haugesund and Stabæk will be more focused on getting a draw, than to go for a win.
Brann have pretty much secured a top 3 spot due to goal difference vs Viking. But would like to end the season at 2nd place as that means ELq1 should Bodø/Glimt win the Cup final against Molde.
Viking who people thought could take the title two months ago, needs help to get a top 3 spot. Preferably from Vålerenga. As catching up with 6 goals to Brann probably is to much to ask for.
It's tempting to make a prediction that both the top 4 and the bottom 5 ends as they are. But then again, I'd be very surprised if that ends up being the case.
