It's a strange draw date. If they were going to do it before the playouts, why didn't they just do it straight after the groups? And as late as December, they might as well have waited until after the playouts.

My preference would have been to do it right after the group stage. The sooner the better, so I'm glad I do not have to wait until after the playouts. But with the playouts clearly not being the reason for the delay, I don't know why there was a delay at all.

So do we know what dates they will use for the Euro 2024 qualifiers? 2 matches each during the international windows in Mar 23, Jun 23, Sep 23, Oct 23, Nov 23? But then there is no spare date for any play-offs at the end. Perhaps they will still need to play 3 matches during a couple of the windows?

I think I've found the answer. Women's Euro draw is on the same day. So they can do both on the same day. Perhaps if that tournament hadn't been put back a year, it would have taken place last December.
