Malmo out of Europe and AIK in Europe would be a disaster for Sweden.

As I see it Malmö's only chance to play in Europe next year is to win the Cup next spring, or finish 4th and hope for someone top 3 winning the cup. Top 3 are too far away and frankly they have underperformed heavily this season.
But I agree that no one (except AIK fans) wants to see AIK in Europe. They are probably the least liked club by fans of other clubs.

For the sake of the coefficient, Malmo need to make top 3 (or top 4 as long as one of the top 3 teams win the cup) as they will be seeded throughout all ECL qualifying rounds. At this point it is looking very unlikely though, being 7th. They just announced Aage Hareide as new caretaker until the end of the season, perhaps he can turn things around?

Hammarby 0–0 Djurgården and Varberg 2–0 AIK, so it seems that the title race will be between Djurgården, Häcken and Hammarby (with 8-9 MDs remaining).

IFK Göteborg vs Helsingborg today and IFK can go 4th.

Häcken vs Hammarby on Saturday!! :bouncy:

The Sweden Democrats (SD) is now the second-biggest party with around 21% of the vote (2022 Swedish general election). They are a nationalist and right-wing populist political party founded in 1988. They will probably be part of the new Swedish coalition government. They have been steadily increasing their vote share since 2010 and it's the first time they will be part of the government.

In Greece, the Independent Greeks (ANEL) party, that has similar ideology to the SD, was part of the Greek coalition government during 2015-19, but they had only received 4-5% of the vote.

Let's see the 2022 Italian general election in a couple of weeks...

Kalmar 1–1 Häcken: second draw in a row for BK Häcken and they are now just one point above Djurgården.

IFK Göteborg 1–3 Helsingborg: IFK lost the chance to go third on the table; they remain in 7th position.

Out of the top 8 clubs in Allsvenskan, only Malmö won in this MD.

Malmo only 4 pts behind Hammarby in 3rd place all of a sudden. Maybe there is hope for the Swedish coefficient after all?

This is turning out to a league which no teams seems to want to win. Current top after MD 22 (8 games to go) is:
1. Häcken 46. Now two draws in a row - are their form declining?
2. Djurgården 45. Will have a split focus with ECL going on as well.
3. Hammarby 41. Maybe still my favourite despite only 2 points in the last 3 games.
4. AIK 39. Does not have the quality to be up here, and certainly not for top 3. Will likely end in 6-7 place.
5. Malmö 37. Heavy underperformers so far. Doubling up with EL. Still have all top 3 teams left to play - can they really be a title contender anyway?
6. Kalmar 37. Stable but boring team. Will be happy to stay in this position.
7. IFK Göteborg 36. Had the chance to close the gap to top 3 yesterday but made a terrible performance. Djurgården away next match with important players injured and/or suspended.

My tip for the final standings today:
1. Hammarby
2. Malmö
3. Djurgården
4. Häcken
5. IFK Göteborg
6. Kalmar
7. AIK

Magnus' predicted final standings is actually an ideal scenario for Sweden.

Häcken 1–1 Hammarby. Häcken equalised on the 90th minute.

Today, Djurgården hosts IFK Göteborg and can go top!

Djurgårdens now in the lead after Häcken's draw vs Hammarby. And Malmö 4th only 2p behind Hammarby in 3rd after yesterday's derby win vs Helsingborgs, and after AIK dropping points vs Degerfors. Malmö and Hammarby play each other in the next round and Malmö could grab a European spot. A lot has changed in the past few rounds.

Victor Edvardsen, who scored a hat-trick for Djurgårdens IF against IFK Göteborg, was born in Göteborg and played for the U19 IFK side. He then played for several small clubs and for Karlstad BK, Degerfors IF and since 2022 for Djurgårdens IF. Djurgården goes first for only the 3rd time (MD) this season.

Six clubs (Djurgården, Häcken, Hammarby, Malmö, AIK and Kalmar) within 10 points with 7 MDs to go.

After this weekend Djurgården has shown that they seem to be capable of double focus - league and ECL. Of course easier to get a 3-0 win when given two horrible penalties... That being said, they are currently the best team in the league and since all the other top teams (except Malmö, but they are too far behind) keep losing points i believe they will take it. Hammarby would have needed their victory against Häcken.

Agree Dif is definitely looking like the one to beat at this point. They play Degerfors next, but after that they are facing Hacken, AIK and Malmo.

In Italy, the 'Brothers of Italy' party is projected to receive 25% of the votes and will be the biggest party. The 'Lega', 'Forza Italia' and 'Us Moderates' parties seem to have done worse than expected, but this doesn't seem to make much of a difference. The centre-right coalition will be the top coalition and will form a government. Let's see...
