Real Madrid vs Salzburg (14:00)

In all seriousness though some of these have strange KO times.

The dates and times are chosen by the home team according to their preference and venue.

So it's not centralised like UCL?

No, except the final tournament (semi-finals and final) in Nyon.

But UEFA picks a few matches each week to stream on their website.

Salzburg's team is already thinned out compared to GS in fall (as almost every year). Kameri and top scorer Konate got a contract for the senior team and there are further 8 more players with 18 and 19 yrs in the senior squad eligible to play in YCL - well just three 19 yrs old for YCL. Last season Salzburg already had to play only away matches in R16 and QF (Zilina, PSG) and this season too (YB and Real). But there is little hope: Last season they could beat the favourite for YCL title PSG away with 3:1 and progressed to final. In season 2019/20 Real already could beat Salzburg in SF 2:1 in Nyon.
Kameri can't play this UYL because he already played over 3 CL matches.

And it's not impossible to eliminate Real Madrid playing away, actually it already happened thrice: Porto did it in 2015, Chelsea in 2018, and Atlético Madrid in 2022.

oh thanks, yes I did not know that yet. Furthermore Kameri is anyway injured but Konate still could play and make a difference but they want him integrate into senior team soon.
Btw I checked the starting XI from Salzburg and Real in 2020 SF when Real beat them 2.1 and found out this:
Today the market value of both teams would be: 116,5 Mio for Salzburg and 22 Mio for Real.
4 Real players made it to La Liga - Arribas even to Real, 4 to La Liga II and 3 to Real Castillas.
6 Salzburg players are now part of the FC Salzburg team, 2 players signed with Sturm, Adeyemi to Borussia, 1 to NB I Hungary and the GK to Pafos FC in Cypros.
Basically all made it to professional level with Adeyemi on the top.

Hajduk 2-1 City FT

Hajduk controlled about 95% of the match, the 5% being the end of the 1st half when City scored the goal. Very well prepared match, letting City attack but not letting them have good chances while scoring 2 goals on the break.

Congratulations to all quarterfinalists! :applause:

Hajduk Split has wonderful youth team.
Image

They're in an undefeated streak of 11 UYL matches (Skhendija x2, Minsk x2, Atlético, Qabala x2, Apolonia x2, Shakhtar and Manchester City).

Will they become the first Croatian team reaching the semifinals?

Milan reached the quarterfinals for the first time ever.
Image

It's a remarkable improvement for a team that last season was unable to win a single match!

Dortmund reached the quarterfinals for the second season in a row.
Image

Last season they won a penalty shootout against Manchester United to reach the quarters, this time they once again won a penalty shootout against Paris.

Sporting also reached the quarterfinals for the second season in a row.
Image

Hopefully they won't use Fatawu Issahaku and Mateus Fernandes for the senior team in their next match against Arsenal, otherwise they''ll be ineligible to play for the youth team anymore.

Real Madrid is the last former winner standing after the eliminations of Barcelona, Salzburg and Porto.
Image

Can they win the UYL for the second time or we'll have a new winner?

AZ Alkmaar was the only visitor in the last 16 reaching the quarterfinals!
Image

They're also the first team eliminating Barcelona in a single match away. All the other Barcelona eliminations happened playing away (Anderlecht 2015 and 2016) or in neutral ground (Salzburg in 2017 semis and Chelsea in 2019 semis) or in group stages (2019/2020 and 2021/2022) or Barcelona won the UYL (2013/2014 and 2017/2018).

Liverpool also reached the quarterfinals for the second season in a row.
Image

Last season they won a penalty shootout against Genk, and this season they also won a penalty shootout against Porto.

Liverpool never won a single leg match away (Benfica in 2015 last 16, Manchester City in 2018 quarters, Dinamo Zagreb in 2019 last 16, Benfica in 2020 last 16 and Juventus in 2022 quarters). Will they survive against Sporting in Portugal next?

Atlético is the last semifinalist from last season standing, with the elimination of Salzburg.
Image

Last season they eliminated most of the remaining teams in the current UYL, so they should be very confident that they can do it again - won a group with Liverpool and Milan, then eliminated Hajduk Split, Real Madrid and Dortmund.
