Though a few years ago Berlin summer climate was a paradise for me in early july. On the polish border it was more like autumn.

Yes, there were some 1st rounds with much more than 30°. I remember a first round with 37, 38°c , in some stadiums the home and away fans enjoyed a nice cold water fountain provided by the home clubs.

What means paradise to you back in Berlin? 25, 26°?

Yes, it was even less sometimes, and without much humidity. I am used to summers with 30 33 degrees on average, and a lot of humidity.

Tonight (20.30 CET) the return of 2. Liga with the opener 1. FC Kaiserslautern vs Hannover 96. The home team back after four years in 3. Liga, the away team one of the top contenders for the promotion, according to most experts. Two clubs with a lot of tradition.

Odds are 2.65 - 3.35 - 2.65

I was a bit more optimistic regarding an away win before I saw the odds. :)

2-1 FT. A gift by a 96 defender and a corner kick goal in extra time, so like a british kick'n rush team in international cups. I would ban corner kicks from football by the way. :dontknow:

Great loss for Bundesliga that Dortmund and Bayern let go Haaland and Lewandowski in the same window. Right now, Nkunku is then the most valuable player in the Bundesliga. My guess? Leipzig will win the title.

In 10 minutes kick-off at Magdeburg - Düsseldorf. Knowing the crazy guys in Magdeburg, it should be an awesome atmosphere. Especially after the promotion from 3. Liga.

Bayern signed Mané, they'll probably sign de Ligt and lets see if they go for a real striker als Lewandowski replacement. They also signed Gravenberch and Mazraoui from Ajax. I expect them to have a very strong team again, not only in the Bundesliga.

Bayern is winning it again, and probably more easy than last year.

Sébastien Haller, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Less than 1 month ago, Dortmund paid Ajax EUR 31m for the striker.

It took HSV 2 rounds to lose their first game, although pretty unlucky against Hansa.

The road to Berlin starts this week.

From the eight teams playing in Europe, Köln have the most tricky opponent. Regensburg is the top team in the 2. Bundesliga and have already defeated two important teams-Bielefeld and Darmstadt. I like it, it's good practice for the Conference playoffs.

TSV 1860 München (III) - Borussia Dortmund
SV Elversberg (III) - Bayer Leverkusen
SSV Jahn Regensburg (II) - 1. FC Köln
1. FC Kaiserslautern (II) - SC Freiburg
Chemnitzer FC (IV) - 1. FC Union Berlin
1. FC Magdeburg (II) - Eintracht Frankfurt
FC Teutonia 05 (IV) - RB Leipzig
FC Viktoria Köln (III) - FC Bayern München
