Union St. Gilloise vs Rangers. It was always going to be an incredibly difficult draw for Union, and the Europa League finalists from last May is no different. Much will need to change beforehand in order for the Brussels club to stand any chance at progression

With the players Union SG have lost I can't see them beating Rangers.

Agreed. Plus a coach with no top level experience (as a head coach) always presents trouble

@dnina10 do you happen to know where USG will play their European games?

I assume their home turf (as much as I love it) is out of the question?

Terrible draw for PSV. Last year we couldn't win against Monaco and Monaco seems even better than last year with Clement. Although they have lost Tchoumeni.

Do we know if it's decided who get's the first home match in the 3rd? Is it decided by seeding?

First ball up homematch first match. If Bodø/Glimt win against Linfield they will have homematch the first match against the winner of Zalgiris vs Malmø FF.

Could you elaborate which key players left and when? I know I know, I could look it up but if you know it by heart, then that's super. :D
Top scorer Assan Ceesay went to Lecce, Ousmane Doumbia to Lugano. I thought Gnonto, 18 year old great talent left too, he's still there but will almost certainly leave too. Omeragic is another talent they might lose.
Now it's even more interesting what's going on with Gnonto. Any news? I saw he played against Young Boys. Is he expected to play against Qarabag?
In Game of Thrones conquerors always say to the defeated side: "Bend the knee and you''ll live". As if they weren't alive right now.

I'm smarter than it shows. Just don't want to discourage anyone.

Ludogorets/Shamrock - Dinamo/Shkupi

Evil tongues would say that Dinamo will visit Bulgaria twice in one week's time. :wink1:

Middle-of-the-road draw for Dinamo. Could be better (Apollon), could be worse (Ferencvaros). I've said before that I don't concern myself too much with the draw in CL-Q3 and CL-PO because if you cannot beat even the strongest of the unseeds, you have no business playing in CL-GS anyway, so it's better you drop to EL or ECL.

One piece of trivia, the guy who was coaching Dinamo when they beat Ludogorets in 8th minute of added time of CL-Q2 in 2012, Ante Cacic, is again sitting on Dinamo's bench, one decade later.

Rangers already sold Aribo to Southampton and Bassey will soon go to Ajax, without those two they are a lot weaker. For me its a 50/50 tie.

They will play at the King Power at Den Dreef in Leuven for the qualifiers and the Roi Badouain Stadium in Brussels for the group stage
