. . . And Jornada 11 starts . . . tomorrow already, to wit

Sat. 15 Oct.

1615 Andorra 0, Alavés 1 Andorra is in mid-table, five points off the pace. Alavés is second, four points ahead of Andorra. Scoreless first half. Luis Rioja puts Alavés on the board at 75'--0-1, and at the moment, Alavés has retaken the league lead--0-1. And Alavés wins it and climbs to the top, although Las Palmas can take back the lead if they win in their game coming up next at Ponfe.

1615 Zaragoza 2, Villarreal "B" 1 Zaragoza is tied for 18-19 with Oviedo--same GD and points. The MiniSub is in lower mid-table, three points above the drop. Jaume Grau gives Zaragoza the lead at 45'+1'--1-0. Halftime in the Romareda. Tasende ties for the visitors at 74'--1-1. At 93', Zapater scores what proves to be the winner for the maños--2-1 the final; Zaragoza climbs no fewer than six places with the win--for the moment, anyway.

1830 Huesca 0, Racing 0 in progress. Huesca is in mid-table. Racing has climbed a point above the drop. Scoreless first half in El Alcoraz.

1830 Ponferradina 0, Las Palmas 1 Ponfe is in mid-table, two points above the drop. Las Palmas leads LaLiga2, but only by a point over Alavés. Florín Andone scores at 23' to lift Las Palmas back into the league lead. For how long :?: Halftime in El Toralín--0-1. And Las Palmas hodlds on to reclaim first place in LaLiga2.

2100 Albacete 1, Oviedo 0 El Alba is a point back of the lowest team in a playoff position. Oviedo is tied for top of the drop with Zaragoza. And given Zaragoza's win Saturday, Oviedo must get at least a point to avoid being in the drop. Scoreless first half in the Carlos Belmonte. At 82', Kawaya scores what proves to be the winner, lifting el Alba to third place, although that could change if ANY of the four teams immediately behind el Alba should win, and a tie would suffice for Burgos or Eibar.

Sun. 16 Oct.

1400 Levante 2, Leganés 1 Levante is in lower mid-table, three points above the drop. Leganés is above the drop only on GD. Scoreless first half. Pablo Martínez gives Levante the lead at 65'--1-0. Dani Raba ties for Lega at 75'--1-1. At 83', Bouldini puts Levante back ahead--2-1; this turns out to be the winner for Levante.

1830 Burgos 2, Mirandés 1 Burgos is in third place. Can they extend their string of games without a goal conceded to 11 :?: Mirandés is next-to-last, three points shy of the lowest teams not in the drop. Through 22', Burgos has kept a clean sheet . . . :grin1: At 25', Gaspar gives Burgos the lead--1-0. And Burgos has made it to halftime without conceding :!: However, their goalie, Caro, was red-carded in the first half. At 94', Manu García breaks the string of not conceding--1-1 and futbolme says that the game will continue at least to minute 104'. At 10'2, Mourad scores the winner for Burgos--2-1 the final. Mirandés broke the string, but getting no points means that they're now the "farolillo rojo" of LaLiga2.

1830 Málaga 3, Lugo 2 Málaga is dead last, three points and two places behind the top of the drop. Cristian scores at 4' to give Málaga the lead--1-0, which is the score at halftime in the Rosaleda. At 56', Rubén Castro makes it 2-0 for Málaga. At 75', Dani Lorenza makes it 3-0 for the home team. Sebas scores the "gol del honor" for Lugo at 90'--3-1. At 94', Barreiro cuts the final margin to 3-2. Both Málaga and Lugo will be in the drop at the jornada's end.

2100 Cartagena 2, Ibiza 0 Cartagena is in the last playoff spot, three points off the pace. Ibiza is in lower mid-table, just a point above top-of-the-drop. Halftime in Cartagonova--0-0. At 51', Iván Calero gives Cartagena the lead. If this holds up, Cartagena could rise to fourth place. Sadiku makes it 2-0 for the home team at 83'. And thus it ends.

2100 Tenerife 2, Granada 0 Tete is just above the drop by a a point. Granada comes off the 5-0 rout of Sporting and occupies fifth place. At 31', Iván Romero gives Tete the lead--1-0. Halftime in the Heliodoro. At 64', Enric converts a pk--2-0 for Tenerife. And that's the final.

Mon. 17 Oct. 2100 Sporting 2, Eibar 0 Sporting comes off the 5-0 hiding at the hands of Granada. Eibar is fourth, two points off the lead and even on points with Burgos. At 28', Pedro Díaz gives Sporting the lead--1-0 at the half. If this score holds, Sporting will tie Eibar for sixth place, although Sporting will trail Eibar on GD. And Cristo looks to have iced it at 86' to make it 2-0 for Sporting. And 2-0 is the final.

2100 Las Palmas 1, Cartagena 0 #1 hosts #4. Can Cartagena avoid defeat :?: A tie would be sufficient for Las Palmas to be alone in first place, but they'd like a win a lot more :grin1: :!: At 92', Jonathan Viera, "Mr. Las Palmas," wins it to give the Canaries first place by three points.

Mon. 24 Oct. 2100 Oviedo 1, Málaga 0 Oviedo is now top of the drop; they're one point ahead of #21 Málaga. Oviedo takes the lead just before halfitme--no details yet. . . . and Jornada 15 starts already today

Fri. 4 Nov. 2100 Alavés 1, Zaragoza 0 Alavés is in second place, back of first place on GD. Zaragoza is 14th, three points above the drop. Scoreless first half in Mendizorroza. Sat. 5 Nov.

1615 Burgos 0, Tenerife 1 Burgos leads LaLiga2 :exclamation: . . . on GD ahead of Alavés. Tete is just a point above the drop in what is proving to be a difficult season for them. Scoreless first half in El Plantío. Burgos will have to better that in the second half if they're to retake the league lead from Alavés. At 79', Elady of Tenerife converts a pk to give the visitors the lead--0-1. There are to be 12 ( :!: ) minutes added time. And Tenerife holds on to win :!: Tenerife climbs, for the moment, to 14th place; Burgos falls to second place and could drop a couple more places.

1830 Andorra 0, Racing Santander 1 Andorra has climbed to ninth place, six points off the league lead. Racing is two points above the drop. Scoreless first half. At 57', Pol Moreno gives Racing the lead--0-1. And 0-1 is the final. Racing climbs to 13th place, five points above the drop.

But at 59', Pinchi ties for Mirandés--1-1. That turns out to be the final score. Both of these teams are almost sure to remain in the drop.

1615 Oviedo 1, Granada 0 Oviedo is top of the drop. Granada is tied on points for places 7/8 with Albacete. Scoreless first half in the Nuevo Carlos Tartiere. At 80', Sergi Enrich scores what proves to be the winner for Oviedo--1-0 the final. Not clear whether this will get Oviedo out of the drop. Granada will fall to eighth or ninth place.

1830 Las Palmas 1, Eibar 1 The Canaries fell to third place with their home loss to Burgos. Eibar is one point back of Las Palmas.
