Could have been harder for the two German clubs. Union with Braga, Malmö and the other Union, from Belgium (which is a harder draw from pot4). Freiburg with Olympiacos, Qarabag and Nantes, also the only bad draw is from pot 4 here.

Why Trabzonspor was put directly in group H at the end, and not group G?

I would call it a very good draw :)

Because Nantes and Monaco couldn't be in the same group.

Because of a Monaco and Nantes possible clash.

If Ludo had drawn Nantes from pot4 i wouldve been livid.
They got the perfect draw from pot4 though so no excuses to move on to ECL now.

Yes. Would be very disappointing if one of them end up 4th and miss KO stage football. Especially with Union playing in their own stadium now, their fortress. And even my hate club Freiburg could do something. :wink1:

Good draw for Turkish clubs.

I wanted as many clashes as possible with our direct opponents.

Many people in Turkey wanted a rematch with Dinamo Kiev, their wish come true. Time for revenge ? :grin1:

Dinamo Kiev - Rennes - Fenerbahçe - AEK
-> Fener are strong enough to win the group, should finish 3rd at worst.

Zvezda - Monaco - Ferencvaros - Trabzon
-> Monaco are naturally favourites for 1st place. Interesting clashes between 3 champions for the remaining places.

Out of curiosity does anyone know why Roma was above Manchester United in the pot 1 ranking with a lower coefficient (not that it matters for the draw)?
