As for the ban to sell tickets to the match at Slovacko - Since the prices for the bundle of tickets for all three home matches of Slovacko were very low and Slovacko does not have that much season ticket holders who had early access to those bundles, it is estimated that around 600 of these bundles were bought by Koln fans. These are tickets to regular seats at the stadium, not an away sector. So Koln might be unable to sell tickets to the away sector, but there will still be hundreds of Koln fans traveling to the match.

Let's hope that max. a small percentage of "Hirngacks" will travel there in late October. But I think, it's less likely to have further troubles in Czechia than away in Belgrade. What are the reputations of Slovacko fans in general and organized groups regarding stupid behavior?

Slovacko are from the small Moravian town of Uherské Hradiště with just over 24 thousand population. I don't think they have a huge following. Considering the small population they've a decent size stadium, a bit over 8 thousand. Uherské Hradiště means "Hungarian Gord" a fortified settlement near the Hungarian border. In those times Slovakia was part of Hungary.

I don't expect any trouble. The Nice thing was a special situation with the PSG ultras, who are good friends with Köln, wanted to start something and some Köln ultras/hools enjoyed the trouble without much police and security (as always in France). At Slovacko there shouldn't be any heat. Belgrade could have been 'hotter' again, but not in this scenario when Köln are not allowed to sell tickets for the away sector. Years ago when Köln faced Partizan's rival in the EL, the situation was under control due to strong police presence.

Expected win for Köln, and Partizan keeps disappointing, and this time they don't have the excuse of numerical disadvantage.

In order to advance, we need to win next week. Draw won't be enough.

If we draw next week, table would look:

Nice 8
Partizan 6
Koln 5
Slovacko 1

MD 5:

Nice - Partizan
Slovacko - Koln

So if we don't win next week, we need draw against Nice which won't be easy.

Expected wins for Partizan and Nice.

Nice's single goal scored by Pépé was an enormous blunder by Nguyen, but Pépé "deserved" to score in this match, perhaps not the goal that he actually scored, but one of the other two opportunities where he hit the posts.

Partizan finally won and interrupted its winless streak of 4 Conference League matches (Feyenoord x2, Slovácko and Köln).

It's interesting that last season after round 3 they had more points than now (6 vs 5) but they weren't leading their group (Gent had 9 points), while this time they are.

Let's see if Partizan and Nice can win again this week, and if so then they'll have a fight for the first spot in round 5 (a win would settle it, while a draw would postpone the decision to round 6).

We are in driver seat now.

I am watching Partizan for 20 years, was on stadium at 80% European games in last 15 years, but this the best Partizan ever in my lifetime.

Those 3 games against Nice and Koln x2 are pure beauty. I said on other topic, we deserved a win against Nice in MD 2. One of the best home games in last 10 years in Europe, but they escape. Koln didn't. It could be 4-0 tonight. 2 goals, one bar, one post... Two great saves by Koln keeper. They had one solid chance and that's it.

Coach Petric did something unbelievable. He came as outsider 45 days ago and changed mentality completely. All fans love him, he was very important member of Partizan board 15 years ago when some great things happened in club... I don't remember when some coach had so big support like him those days.

He fully deserved it. Great guy and club legend. His approach (psychological) is by far the best we maybe seen in Partizan. Totally relaxed, without any kind of pressure. And in this club, there is always big pressure. Every game is pressure, but he handle it like the best coach could.

Also, inteersting thing, coaching is not his primarly occupation. :D After playing career, he became very successuful in building industry. So, I don't believe he'll work as a coach anywere beside Partizan. So far in career, coaching job was "adventure" for him in some way. But, he is big Partizan fan and when no one wanted to come in club 45 days ago, he decided to take job. 45 days ago, we played the worst football in 21st century and 45 days later, we are playing the best.

You don't see that in sport often. Maybe never, hard to explain.

If Partizan can play whole season like in last 20 days, I don't see why we wouldn't go all the way in Conference League. Maybe big words, but we are playing better than Bodo/Glimt last season for example. Much better.

updated prediction after md2: (no update actually)
Koln

Partizan
Slovacko
On the first matchday, Partizan was in very bad conditions, at mins 45' Partizan was losing 2-0 against Slovacko and they were 10 men. They werent impressive against AEK Larnaca and Hamrun in August also. If you were to grant unlimited wishes to a Partizan fan at half-time of the Slovacko match, I think even he would be ashamed to ask for this current standings. Of course, nothing is finished yet in the group.
One of the reasons why football is loved more than other sports is that it is much harder to predict the winner and more open to surprises.
Nice had the advantage till 75th minute of their home match against Slovacko but tide has suddenly turned. It will be an exciting final two weeks, where every team in the group has a chance. Hard to predict final rankings.

Congratulations Slovácko! :applause:

Their winning goal in France was funny. Todibo as Nice's last defender fouled Kadlec and was sent off. In the subsequent free kick Reinberk scored anyway. :grin1:

It's also funny that at the moment Slovácko isn't even the worst Czech team in Conference League, they have 4 points and -2GD just like Slavia Praha, but they have more goals scored. And they're the pot 4 team here, while Slavia Praha is the pot 1 team in its group, so Slavia Praha's current results are shameful while Slovácko's aren't.

Today Slovácko can't lose against Köln or they'll be eliminated.

Partizan will qualify today if they win in France. A draw is also enough for Partizan if Slovácko doesn't win.

Congratulations Nice! :clapping:

They're leading the group and they'll win it if they win in Germany, or if they draw and Partizan doesn't win. However, if they draw and Partizan wins, or if they lose and Partizan also loses, then they'll be second placed. And if they lose and Partizan doesn't lose then Nice will be eliminated.

Partizan will win the group if they win and Nice doesn't win in Germany. They will be second placed if they win and Nice also wins, or if they draw, or even if they lose and Köln doesn't win. They'll be eliminated if they lose and Köln wins.

Köln will be eliminated if they don't win. If they win and Partizan doesn't they win the group, and if they win and Partizan also wins they'll be second placed.

With a picture now instead of with words:

Slovácko is eliminated as expected but they can still play a role here. Actually they already played a role here, which was keeping Köln alive until round 6, by losing twice against them and getting points from both Nice and Partizan.

Now they can't help Köln anymore, but they can still help Nice.

Yes, crazy prediction.
That didn't work, but it was a balanced group indeed.

I found Slovacko weak in Fenerbahçe matches, but they showed in this group that they are not that weak. They earned valuable points for the Czech Republic.
Frankly, I wasn't very upset with Cologne, who lost to Partizan without scoring a goal in two games. I don't understand these teams. They want to be successful in the league and play in Europe, but they do not perform 100% in European matches.
Partizan, on the other hand, was in a very bad situation in the first match, but they came to the point where they may win the group and they very well deserved the next round.
