EL Matchday 1
A fair but not great performance by Arsenal this matchday starting with a below par line-up but had some stronger substitutes to bring in off the bench. Some decent defending by FC Zurich and they stand a chance of some points from the other fixtures in this group I think.
It seems everyone is doing it this season. Ferhevar, Shaktar, Union GS, Sporting. Copenhagen are the odd one out.babaluj1 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 20:59For me its sorprise, they beat Germans in Germany!BurningStorm wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 20:51Union from Belgium don't belong to this list IMO. Weren't they 2nd in regular season? And they put a great fight to Rangers in CL qualification.
Very strong moment of silence in Manchester (and it was real silence, no clapping)

And hopefully Qarabag: 1-0 Freiburg after VAR said penalty (right decision).Todor wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:01It seems everyone is doing it this season. Ferhevar, Shaktar, Union GS, Sporting. 2-0 Freiburg. It feels strange to celebrate their goals, usually I'm always against them.
Feyenoord keeps their bad luck vs Roman teams... 2-0 for Lazio already
Maybe they can have a West Ham style redemption this season!BurningStorm wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:17 2-0 Freiburg. It feels strange to celebrate their goals, usually I'm always against them.
I also thought they might see this as a distraction when top of the league. Are they playing first teamers?
Trabzon conceded 2nd from 10 men Ferencvaros. What a shit team and coach...

Some changes in the team, but it's basically the first team, yes.Lorric wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:20Maybe they can have a West Ham style redemption this season!BurningStorm wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:17 2-0 Freiburg. It feels strange to celebrate their goals, usually I'm always against them.

Sturm really outplays Midtjy could lead easily 2-3:0
Thanks. Good for them taking it seriously.BurningStorm wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:34Some changes in the team, but it's basically the first team, yes.Lorric wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:20Maybe they can have a West Ham style redemption this season!BurningStorm wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 21:17 2-0 Freiburg. penalty wasted from Sturm as well hopefully this will not be punished at all.
