EL Matchday 1
this Emegha Sturms new aquisition runs fast like a gazelle had one more big chance plus hitting post from Sturm again. So much difference of class between offence and defending from the Danes.
Good chance from Midtjy missing from 12 m

Freiburg stopped playing football and now they had some luck in a possible penalty situation with VAR. They want the 2-2 to piss me off, it seems.

Another penalty for Monaco, but now checking the VAR.
Edit: no penalty.

Another last second win for France against a team with Greek heritage.
Football justice, Olympiacos is punished for another awful match. They deserved to lose more than 2-1.
Real Sociedad threw away a 3 on 1 break.
0-1 FT. United lose, not good enough in the second half.
Ronaldo was awful.

Zvezda lost 0:1 to Monaco in Belgrade and Fradi beat Trabzonspor 3:2 with 10 men in Budapest in the same group.
Nantes won and it's absolutely deserved. 3-0 would reflect the game more than 2-1. Olympiakos just defended for 80 minutes with the bench trying to lose time with some dirty tactics at the end too.
International break hater
I have no idea what happened to Omonoia, shocking, shocking result.
Ferencvaros and Monaco already made their Group super interesting.
Sociedad beating United is not much of a surprise, United rotating is a weak United, it's part of the United who got smashed by Brentford.

I think Ludogorets beating Roma the biggest surprise. Somewhat less of a surprise is MU losing at home to Real Sociedad and PSV drawing with Bodo in Eindhoven.

The crowd was absolutely nuts in Nantes. That's what you get after missing out on two decades of European football.
