The cross from Cancelo for the second goal is a thing of beauty.

Real gets another cynical win.
Agreed on both points. Leipzig really deserved more and Dortmund should have played more offensively after the lead or at least after the 1-1. The love of Dortmund fans for Haaland came to an end now, I think.

Good result in Copenhagen, at least.

Manchester City with another comeback. They're such party poopers, giving the other teams hope and then spoiling everything. They were very sluggish today until they went 0-1 down, then started to play properly. I was thinking, get a shot on target guys, Dortmund have a goalkeeper who has played 1 game in the Bundesliga in his entire career, and when they finally did hit the target, they scored, then they hit the target again, and scored again. Good effort from Borussia Dortmund though, who did well to prevent their opponents from doing anything through the middle in the first half, forcing them onto the wings where they were ineffective, although again, not sure how much that was Dortmund being that good or City being that bad in the first 45, or even 60 mins of the match.

Other scores, and Juventus lose at home. Somebody on here, can't remember who, predicted it. Allegri has to be under some pressure now. A poor showing in the league, and now this. Great result for Benfica though, who could qualify in the top 2 again. Let's wait and see.

The two other surprises would be Chelsea's home draw with Salzburg and Sevilla's draw in Copenhagen, although both teams are off form right now so they aren't that big.

2 games, 2 loses for Bundesliga teams. However, the draws in the other games of their groups kind of keep things still very open for both Dortmund and Leipzig to reach the R16.

The only surprises are the draws of Copenhagen and Salzburg. :applause: Other results as expected.

Maccabi Haifa had a some good opportunities for goals. Unfortunately, only one went in.
PSG made 3 goals out of nothing. They didn't have any intensity in their game for most of the match, they played like it was a friendly match. They were clearly not prepared for the match with Haifa.
Unfortunately, about 20 good minutes in the second half were enough for PSG to put the 2nd goal, and they cruised from there. Maccabi Haifa didn't have the intensity to end this match like they played in the first half. Otherwise, it was a very good match of Haifa.

I still think Benfica's win is a surprise, Kobenhavn's draw not so much, but the biggest surprise is Salzburg's draw at Chelsea. Only Porto's home loss against Club Brugge is bigger from yesterday.

Good attendance in Warsaw. I wonder if there were that many Ukrainians, or if it was mostly Poles. Perhaps there were a lot of Scots there?

Copenhagen's draw wasn't much of a surprise, Sevilla is horrible so far this season.

Impressive numbers. Good to see that Shakhtar was not abandoned, over 20k in Warsaw looks pretty nice.

The away sector looked packed.

The attendance is nice, but many people bought packs for all three matches only to secure their tickets vs Real. So all in all there were even more tickets sold, but not all ticket holders attended the game. Hopefully it didn't lead to a potential situation that they blocked seats to those who wanted to buy a ticket, but weren't able to do it.

Celtic played well today again but like MD1 were punished for not taking their chances. A point away is a good result but it could and should have been more.

From my experience, British love Poland as a short 2-day holiday destination. Combined with a match, even better! :grin1:
