Harsh red for Hearts, the ref seems like a lower level official. Knowing the Italians they probably paid him to perform like that tho.
I don't understand why VAR isn't in this competition
im pretty shocked that Ballkani manage to beat Sivasspor by 4-3
Fiorentina have been the better team in this game but some of the free kicks/offisdes and the red card have been questionable. Scottish teams have had a bad experience in the past of Italians cheating us with paying officials previously.
I hate Köln's coach. What a pussy. Resting his best players because of a derby in the Bundesliga. And now they went from 1st to 3rd because of that monkey.
He brought some of them in after 60 minutes, but there was no rhytm in their game anymore.
Djurgarden win is worth noting, especially because they have a decisive game for the title on sunday. Good mentality. Now they are in a good position, as long as they don't lose at home against Gent next week.
This year, ECL is much stronger and more interesting than last year. Small clubs are getting better, after the 3rd round they all won at least one point.
I am not surprised at all by Sivasspor's result - I've said before that their games against Cluj and Ballkani are roughly 50-50.
What is actually surprising is that their coach is still not fired.
0 win so far in Turkish league, what are they waiting for ? This team clearly needs new blood.
On the other hand, Basaksehir were disappointing - they couldn't break through this solid Latvian wall. As long as they beat RFS and Hearts at home, it's okay anyway.
Basel and especially Slavia's home losses are quite surprising.
A few definitely big surprises today. The biggest ones are Partizan winning 1:0 in Koln, Slovan Bratislava 2:0 in Basel, Ballkani 4:3 in Sivas and Cluj 1:0 in Prague vs. Slavia. A milder surprise Djurgarden's 1:0 win at Gent.
