Austria Wien qualified once: 2013/2014
Salzburg qualified five times: 1994/1995, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023
Rapid Wien qualified twice: 1996/1997 and 2005/2006
Sturm qualified thrice: 1998/1999, 1999/2000 and 2000/2001

If qualifying is "so hard for Leverkusen from Germany" and so easy in Austria, why is it that Leverkusen qualified more times than all the Austrian teams combined?! :?
... because simply Red Bull started 20 years too late in Salzburg to challenge Leverkusen and Co. There would be no discussion about Austria Wien, Rapid and so on. RBS would now play it's 24th edition in CL :D

Basically you needed to sell your clubs colours, history and identity to be able to compete

Why are Barca favourites? Because of their name perhaps.

Hopefully Inter finish the group against Plzen to ensure Barca and all their superstars get to play in the Europa league. Maybe Laporte will sell another 10 years of TV rights to fund another spate of buying 😂

rather the second. Expect a statistical error variation of 30-50% in comments at this late time. :)
20 years earlier engagement of RB was not possible. The company did not exist then and have generated only after mid 90's sufficient cash flow for such high initial investments.

"LEV" = Leverkusen I suppose...

Leverkusen is playing the CL for the SIXTH time in the last 10 editions (2013/2014 to 2022/2023).

Good luck finding them EVER finishing fourth in their CL group, in this decade or in any of their previous seven participations.

I understand that you like to tease BurningStorm and he likes to tease you, but I advise you to choose your words wisely, he can easily counter you in this "LEV" thing saying that they're bigger than all the teams from your country combined!
so take LEV out of this decade (and even WOB if you like. QF in 2015/16!) and just take the last 5-6 years only 3rd place in CL Gs 2019 (I hope I got it now correctly if you take me by word). Leverkusens claims however are much higher than what they achieved in this period. I can watch every week their matches or at least a summary of it and I do not just guess by points or tables or what is written here in forum how they are. I can make my own point of view of it what I can't do for other leagues so much so I do not comment on them.

Can you imagine if Salzburg had this rather moderate results for CL like LEV despite playing with a U22 team? this never stopping naiv and even vicious "BurnMobber" & noicy Loudspeaker (who even wrote me a nasty/childish PM - don't do this again!! with dozen of stupid smileys) would jump to heaven vor lauter Schadensfreude!
I put him already on this blocking list last October so I never could quote him since then anymore but in return he does not do it with me because he just wants to mobb. He is not interested in reconsiliation. When I login with my name however I am protected from this Ungustl sometimes on travel I cannot do this on convenience.
He must stop QUOTING me and writing stupid PM immediately! He is partly responsible for Malko and Funkmaster not writing here anymore too. He chased them all the years in his special way. He had partly insulting arguments against them as well as I could see it. I do not want to comment more here. So he can pick now every for him useful single word out of the context as usual and having his last noicy words as always.
He should shut up and retreat where he came from.
1) You brought back the heat once again. You claimed that Salzburg's league game before the 2nd leg against Bayern was cancelled because of covid cases. I corrected you in this post and I started my post with "did you just lie?". 99% of the other users would have said "oh my bad, I remembered it differently". You chose the Club-Mate way: first no reply and after more than three weeks you insulted me as "smirch" and that I should piss off

2) Claiming I have something to do with the disappearance of Malko and Funkmaster is probably even for your standards a new low. First of all regarding Malko, we had some PM conversations over the years about different stuff (football, politics, Europe etc). He even sent me a youtube link where he made an interview in Luxemburg with a small German music channel about radio stuff in Luxembourg, France and Germany. Not my music of course, but he wanted to show it. So I even know his face. He also recommended a book to me, I think about corruption in European politics (we had different opinions about politics but here we agreed). He was some kind of annoying some times, and he always tried to attack German football in a ridiculous way (but in a smarter way than you). Everyone knows that. The French users had the biggest problem with him as he was the reason why many users (regardless of where they came from) rooted against French teams in Europe. In fact, many users left because of Malko. And Malko definitely didn't left because of me. I don't know about Funkmaster, but this here was the last time we had something like a conversation. He thanked me for the link etc. So probably another manipulating shit from you to claim that. He was by the way a more realistic guy than you regarding Austrian and also German football. Can not say if you two had contact where he blamed me for leaving the forum, but I would be surprised if it's the case. Prove it.

3) Here is my PM you are talking about. I wanted to post it in the thread but then I decided not to spam. Btw the only PM I ever sent to you. But your quote in the PM is a good example for your typical "behind the back" attacks all the time. You always start this. Over the years I always said the words "from out of nowhere" after one of your provocations. Because there was no reason for this, you only were pissy because days or weeks earlier I listed some arguments in discussions about football you don't agree with. The 1) point is just the newest example.

So don't cry and become personal if you have no arguments in football discussions. Then I don't beat you with words, but ignore you. And ask yourself why you have or had problems with Lubomir, seso and others.

PS: I could have reacted much louder after Bayern's 7-1 against Salzburg. I decided to enjoy it silently. You claim I would bash Salzburg all the time for results Leverkusen currently have? At least Leverkusen could beat Atletico 2-0 (you lost both games against them two years ago). The only win of your team was against Dinamo at home. Plus a draw in Zagreb with a last-minute shot on the bar by the opponent, a draw against Milan with a last-second shot on the post by the opponent and a very lucky draw against a much better Chelsea side. Salzburg are in a better shape than Leverkusen at the moment, no doubt about it, but with Salzburg's luck they would have more points. Missed two penalties, VAR stole a goal in Brügge because of 1 mm offside etc. I think Leverkusen have the stronger squad on paper, but Salzburg are a better team right now and football is a team sports. There is a reason Leverkusen are 15th in the league. Lets see if Salzburg can win against a team in the KO stage of any competition (qualifiers excluded) for the first time after 4 (!!!!) years. They got eliminated in the first KO round against Bayern in 21/22 (1:1 and 1:7), against Villarreal in EL 20/21 (0:2 and 1:2), against German 9th Frankfurt in EL 19/20 (1:4 and 2:2). Last KO round won was in 18/19 against Brügge before getting eliminated by Napoli. But wow, they got 6 points so far in the group! :wink1:

Amazing Napoli scored 17 goals from 4 games. 10 for Ajax, 4 for Liverpool and 3 at Ibrox. Hard act to follow.
AMAZING REALLY.
Also considering the players leaving Napoli this summer: Koulibaly, Fabian Ruiz, Insigne, Maertens (the all-time Napoli top-scorer), Ospina.
Hope for more partecipants in the next Prediction Game

Is it only me who thinks that Martinez looks offside when Onana kicks the ball out?

Before the middle line there is no offside rule.
