I think this is worth sharing. The Napoli match thread has been opened on the Rangers forum. There were no words besides the thread title, just this image in the post.
Brugge is the only team to not concede a goal in the competition, they won 0-4 in first leg, and they still have to secure first place.
Yet Porto is favorite
Juventus and Barcelona looking likely to both be out in matchday 5. At least for Juventus it's in their own hands. If they win in Portugal, they go 2 points behind them and are still in with a shot, given that they would be likely to play a PSG side already guaranteed 1st place, while Benfica would have a tricky game in Israel. Of course the hard part if actually beating Benfica away, as they're unbeaten in the group so far, having played PSG both times in that.
Barcelona could produce a fantastic display and win at home to Bayern and it'll be meaningless if Inter beat Plzen at home, which, let's be honest, is almost certainly going to happen. It's a shame, because they're doing brilliantly in the league, just, something went wrong in their games v Inter.

If Benfica and Paris both defeat Maccabi Haifa, then Juventus can win 10-0 against Benfica and 10-0 against Paris and they'll still finish third placed.
In their own hands means that if they win their games they surely advance regardless of what happens in the other matches.

Juventus have it in their own hands not to be knocked out in matchday 5, is what I was saying. Read my first sentence. I am talking about potential elimination in matchday 5. The other result won't matter as long as they win.Dragonite wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 21:33In their own hands how?Polak wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 21:23 Juventus and Barcelona looking likely to both be out in matchday 5. A dull game is lit up out of nowhere as Kovacic strikes into the top corner from just outside the box, 0-1 Chelsea!

Kovacic takes the lead with a nice shot from 15-16 metres, 0:1 Chelsea.
Red Bull are completing little more than a pass a minute, 32 passes in 26.5 minutes.
What a boring football practice Chelsea. They are so so so behind Bayern, City or LFC football. Football would be dead with reactive football like this or Madrid's football. A gigantic budget to play this trash.
