The draw streamed at 13:00 CET on Tuesday 5 March will set groups for all three leagues, which run from April to July and will decide finals and play-off berths.

Based on the UEFA Executive Committee decisions valid at the time of the draw, the following teams cannot be drawn into the same group:

Kosovo (League B, Pot 4) & Bosnia and Herzegovina (League B, Pot 2)

Three-team groups to four team groups

Teams that played in three-team groups in the UEFA Women's Nations League phase will be drawn into four-team groups in the Women's European Qualifiers phase:

The play-off paths will be adjusted as necessary to take into account the performance of Women's EURO hosts Switzerland, who will compete in League B but are guaranteed a slot in the final tournament.

If Switzerland finishes as a League B winner runner-up or in third place, the best-ranked fourth-placed team of League B will complete the round 1 path 2 play-off line-up and the draw seeding for the six ties will be adjusted accordingly.

Do you think any LC teams will be LA teams? Do you anticipate 15/16 LA teams to qualify?

I can’t see any League C teams beating League A teams in the playoffs round 1. Any decent team that started UWNL in League C would have been promoted (such as Turkey), and any team which were just relegated from UWNL League B are likely to be quite poor.

As for whether it will be 15 League A teams qualifying for Euros, likely not. The teams that were just promoted from League B to League A (Republic of Ireland, Finland, Poland, Czechia), and the teams that were just relegated from League A to League B (Portugal, Switzerland, Scotland, Wales) are almost equal in strength (Wales just beat Ireland in a friendly), and also Serbia almost beat Iceland in the promotion-relegation playoffs. So it will depend on the matchups of the round 2 draw.
