Welcome to the relegation zone, Frosinone. They collapsed in 2024, like another newcomer (Benevento) in 2020-21. Let's see if they can reverse the trend.

After 13 games they had 18 points. Now after 28 games they have 24.

D'Aversa is suspended for 4 matches.

After the defeat of yesterday, the coach of Lazio Maurizio Sarri quits his job.

Milan investigated.
Suspected false communications about the real ownership.
The investigators assumption is that Elliot fund is still the real owner. In this case Elliot would be the owner of two clubs partecipating UEFA competitions: Milan and Lille.
What is the risk for Milan now?
Hope for more partecipants in the next Prediction Game

Points deduction and UEFA ban are possible scenarios.

What loophole is used by Red Bull or next year by Man City (assuming Girona is in the UCL)

Huge win for Bologna yesterday in the added time.

They have now 54 points after 29 games. In the last few years no 6th placed teams finished above 68 points, usually a bit less, so Bologna need 14-15 more points to be in Champions League, even 11-12 might be enough.

9 games left.

Serie A

This year the Serie A is appealing because, except for the title race which is already decided, there are many clubs in fight for any other goal:
- Champions League qualification;
- Europa League qualification;
- Europa Conference League qualification;
- battle to avoid relegation, involving almost half of the clubs.
All of the Serie A clubs, except for Internazionale (virtually champion), Genoa (the only mid-table side), and Salernitana (virtually in Serie B) are still fighting for something!
Even Juventus and AC Milan, which are virtually qualified for the next Champions League already, are battling for the second place in Serie A.

Now playing:

Monza - Cagliari : 0 - 0 after 15'

Udinese - Torino : 0 - 1 after 15'

Later tonight:

Salernitana - Lecce

Frosinone - Lazio

Serie A

Monza - Cagliari : 1 - 0 FT

Udinese - Torino : 0 - 2 FT

Both, Monza and Torino, overtake Lazio in the ranking, and keep alive a little hope for European Football in the next season.

for Udinese only 4 victories in Serie A, arriving with: Juventus, Milan, Bologna, Lazio...it's a shame that he also has to face small teams and not just big teams :degsmile:

Serie A

Salernitana, virtually relegated (last in Serie A, 11 points behind the 17th place), sacked also the third coach, Fabio Liverani, and appointed back Filippo (Pippo) Inzaghi (brother of Simone Inzaghi), who was the second coach in this season (the first coach, at the beginning of the season, was Paulo Sousa).

Juventus - Genoa : 0 - 0 after 30'

Serie A

Verona - AC Milan : 1 - 3
Now AC Milan is 3 points ahead of Juventus in the battle for the second position in Serie A.

Last matches of this giornata, today:

18:00 Atalanta - Fiorentina
I am going to watch this match, a very important clash for the race to the European spots.

18:00 AS Roma - Sassuolo
AS Roma needs a victory to consolidate its 5th position, Sassuolo desperately needs points.

20:45 Internazionale - Napoli
Will Internazionale continue its winning streak? Napoli needs points to chase an European spot.
