Espanyol would take over the league lead with a win, but they'll have to come from behind to do it :!: . . . They're down two goals early--Eldense scorers are Soberón at 10' and Chapela at 15'. And it's 0-2 at the half. Braithwaite makes it 1-2 at 50', but at 51', Andone scores for 1-3; at 59', Puado cuts the margin to 2-3. And at 103' or 104' (my sources give both), Puado converts a pk to pull Espanyol even--3-3 the final.

2100 Sporting 2, Tenerife 1 Sporting is in mid-table. Tete is in fourth place, with a record of 4-1-0. As things have turned out, Tenerife would climb to second place with a win here. And Roberto scores for Tenerife at 14'--0-1, and Tete is in second place at the moment. But at 21', Gaspar ties for Sporting--1-1. Halftime. Sporting wins it with a goal by Insua at 94'. Tenerife remains fourth and Sporting rises to sixth place.

Mon. 18 Sept. 2100 Andorra 1, Oviedo 0 Andorra is in mid-table with two wins and three losses to date, Oviedo is the top of the drop on GD over the three teams below them. Scoreless at the half. A win would lift Oviedo out of the drop. At 81', Lobete converts a pk to give Andorra the lead--1-0. That proves to be the winner.
