And Porto bites the dust.
0-1 at home against Estoril. Even the habitual penalty for Taremi (missed) couldn't save them.

My Sporting lost with Benfica 2-1 (I'm not digesting this defeat very well) and they are both on top with 28 points. Porto follows with 25 and Braga with 23.

In Futsal Benfica also won against the team from my Parents home 4-3 also very lucky Benfica.

I guess Benfica is the luckiest team in Portugal.... hopefully they will run out of luck one day...

Another "glory day" for portuguese football.
FC Porto jurassic president is being contested for the first since since he reached power in the 80's, and he isn't keen on letting it go. Former coach André Villas Boas (FC Porto, Chelsea, Tottenham, Marseille) is the rival.
If the Pinto da Costa goes down the ultras, that have acted like a praetorian guard and haven establish a huge business around the club, using the club and not serving the club, will be cut off their wealth.

So yesterday, violent altercations occurred between FC Porto Ultras and Sócios at the general assembly led by the Super Dragões. People have fled the arena to escape the violence.
Anyone that wanted to speak against current president was taken outside arena and beaten.

2nd consecutive draw for benfica, now Farense at home, after another draw against Moreirense past season.

Benfica coach says they are playing great and he has the fans support. I don't what drugs he is on, but they must be great.
Today people booing him at 66' when losing 0-1 he just took out one of the best players, João Neves. At the end, whistles and white tissues wishing him goodbye.

Boavista has now 5 losses in a row, coach just quited because all players have between 2 to 3 months of unpaid wages, managerial staff 3 months, other staff more than 4 months.
Training sessions cancelled because they got water and gas cut off, the pitch is a mess because the company isn't getting paid also.

I think they will blow up and face extinction.
They are owned by Gerard Lopez (owned part of Lille at some point and Bordeaux, and Lotus F1 team before selling to Renault.).

Famalicão-Sporting cancelled.

Portuguese policemen are protesting for higher income and for this match, only 2 policemen appeared.
Sporting Ultras attacked Famalicão supporters that were nearby the stadium and match was cancelled.
