And of course Newcastle in Dortmund's group on top.... Abidal is an idiot

German draw "luck" in full force again:

Dortmund with PSG, Milan, Newcastle
Union with Real, Napoli and Braga

Decent draw for Leipzig: BoringCity, Red Star and Young Boys. 2nd place should be the goal of course.

Bayern also with an okay draw: ManUnited, Copenhagen, Gala. Would be arrogant to say that another 6-0-0 is the goal, but it should be the 1st place here.

Does Red Star and Young Boys sweeten the deal?

Manchester City flies to the round of 16 in practice already today...

I like Antwerp's group. No offense, but group E was "too open" for their own good, but in this group they have a shot at finishing 3rd.

PSG, Dortmund, Milan, Newcastle vs

Feyenoord, Atletico, Lazio, Celtic

And yet some people honestly fear the schedules in the new system could be unfair :dontknow:

Group E looks like a solid Europa league group, group F is harsh, a typical group G and interesting battle for 2nd and 3rd in group A.

Perfect draw for Copenhagen. Two popular giants, Bayern and Man U, and a bottom team that is beatable, Galatasaray.
Couldn't have hand-picked it better.

Easy group for Bayern as usual.
Dortmund in the group of death.
Leipzig in the group of life.
Union Berlin probably will be 3rd. They already defeated Braga last season.

Useless prediction:

A: Bayern, Man United, Galatasaray, Copenhagen
B: Arsenal, PSV, Sevilla, Lens
C: Real Madrid, Napoli, Union Berlin, Braga
D: Inter, Benfica, Real Sociedad, Salzburg
E: Atletico, Lazio, Feyenoord, Celtic
F: PSG, Newcastle, Milan, Borussia D.
G: Man City, Leipzig, Zvezda, Young Boys
H: Barcelona, Porto, Antwerp, Shakhtar

Very interesting and competitive groups for Italian teams.

The easiest is... Lazio's one.

Hopefully Kane and United can coexist here and both advance here.

This group may be an opportunity for that Galatasaray in the last 16 prediction I saw to come true. United have had a shaky start to the season.

ManU should be quite happy. If they find a way to bottle this its on them.
RealM got a great group if only they could get a great ST… :(

Group A: Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Copenhagen, Galatasaray

Group B: Sevilla, Arsenal, PSV, Lens

Group C: Napoli, Real Madrid, Braga, Union Berlin

Group D: Benfica, Inter Milan, RB Salzburg, Real Sociedad

Group E: Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, Celtic

Group F: PSG, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Newcastle

Group G: Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade, Young Boys

Group H: Barcelona, Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Royal Antwerp

So that just leaves the Arsenal group to talk about. Overall fair I'd say, Sevilla is a good draw, PSV is a bad draw, Lens is an average draw.

Overall I'd say we came out well here, Newcastle got an awful draw, but the other two got good draws and can't complain about Arsenal's.

Group H, very lucky.
