An 'OK' European campaign so far for Pana; eliminated Dnipro-1 and OM (I did not expect the latter), but I expected something better against Braga. The EL group seems interesting, looking forward to the first match against Villarreal at home!

There are four teams less likely than Backa Topola to win the EL, among them LASK! :dontknow:

The strangest thing is that they (Backa Topola) are not even in a weak group, but in a strong one!

Poor Sheriff, despite being there almost every season they haven't earned the same respect of Backa Topola :grin1:

The (at least in German speaking countries) big Austrian betting site "Interwetten" had a 20.00 for Leverkusen after the draw, but they realized how idiotic that was and gave them a 10.00 now, which is more reasonable for the semi-finalist of the previous season, who improved the squad a lot. Xhaka from Arsenal, Boniface from USG, Hofmann from Gladbach and Grimaldo from Benfica are incredible signings and unlike in the group stage of the previous CL season, super talent Florian Wirtz is fit. It's probably their best squad since the "Triple Vice Champion" season in 2001/02, where they lost the CL final to Real Madrid, the cup final to Schalke and the Bundesliga title to BVB (1 point difference). So probably that's why putting money on them is always difficult, they are Neverkusen. Even though they could win this trophy in the UEFA Cup 1988. It was one of their two titles they have won in their entire history, the other one was the German cup in 1993.

Liverpool of course top favorite and lets see if Brighton can show the performances from the PL, first time in Europe is always different. And never forget Villarreal in the EL.

Roma starting with Svilar on goal. Last season they did the same in Bulgaria and lost the match. :upset:

Molde has struggled so far against aggressive Qarabag who are good and fast in transitions. Looks like a difficult task for them in Baku.

LASK have got Liverpool under control, only 1 shot on target.

It's a half A team for Liverpool, and fortunately Klopp has brought the other half with him. Time to bring them on. HT 0-1.
