Seeding for UEFA Club Competitions 2024/25
Hello everyone, am starting this thread now. My spreadsheet for the seeding for the UEFA club competitions 2024/25 is expected to be released tomorrow night, assuming everything goes to plan. I spent the last couple of weeks planning it carefully and making some adjustments. Definitely a lot of time taken to prepare it. A Twitter thread will accompany the spreadsheet's release, where I'll go into more detail about the changes and what we can expect. So look out for that tomorrow night
COOL!!!
I ENTERED EVERY FEW DAYS TO LOOK FOR THIS.

Thank you dnina!
Hi dnina10,
I did the same thing in a different format. But I have some questions about the access list:
If the team that wins the Champions League qualifies for the competition through its domestic league, how will the access list be revised?
Scenario 1:
Q1: 28 teams
Q2: 10 teams
Q3: 0 teams
Q4: 4 teams
Scenario 2:
Q1: 30 teams
Q2: 7 teams
Q3: 1 team
Q4: 4 teams
Which scenario do you think will be implemented? Is there a procedure announced by UEFA regarding this?

Hi, you'll be able to see which one in the spreadsheet. I also linked a Twitter thread at the start of this thread that will also explain this.cgunduz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 14:32 Hi dnina10,

Moreover, it'd depend on where the highest ranked team in CL Q comes from (Q1, Q2 or PO)
I think 30-7-1-4 works for every situation. Why the rule not like this?dnina10 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 14:55Hi, you'll be able to see which one in the spreadsheet. If highest ranked team in CL Q comes from Q1 --> SWE Champion move Q2
If highest ranked team in CL Q comes from Q2 --> SWE & POL Champion move Q2
If highest ranked team in CL Q comes from Q3 (CZE) --> SWE & POL Champion move Q2, NOR Champion move Q3
If highest ranked team in CL Q comes from PO --> SWE & POL Champion move Q2, NOR Champion move Q3, CZE Champion move PO
Because this is not working correctly. There will be less ties at Q2 so less clubs will continue at EL-Q3cgunduz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 16:10I think 30-7-1-4 works for every situation. Due to a lot of surprises in the Top 5 leagues this season, Pot 4 CL will probably be stronger than pot 2 and pot 3. Currently there are Stuttgart, Bologna, Nice, Girona, Aston Villa, Monaco, St.Gilles, Qarabag and Slovan. These last two will have a very hard time reaching GS, especially Slovan.
Oh, of course! I forgot about the transition between the cups. Thank youeye wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 16:46Because this is not working correctly. Do you mean that in 24-25 will happen for many teams what in 23-24 for Newcastle?babaluj1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 17:26 Due to a lot of surprises in the Top 5 leagues this season, Pot 4 CL will probably be stronger than pot 2 and pot 3. I.e. many top5 country teams in Pot4, since they have a low ranking.
Hope for more partecipants in the next Prediction Game
I don't know exactly how many strong pots there will be in CL, but there will certainly be a lot of excellent Top 5 clubs with low coefficients. This means that it will be very difficult for clubs outside the Top 5 leagues to enter the Top 24 after GS. I don't believe that anyone will succeed, except the Dutch and the Portuguese clubs.fabiomh wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 15:25Do you mean that in 24-25 will happen for many teams what in 23-24 for Newcastle?babaluj1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 17:26 Due to a lot of surprises in the Top 5 leagues this season, Pot 4 CL will probably be stronger than pot 2 and pot 3.
