The ref should red carded Martinez. What an annoying, disgusting clown.
I take it you haven't watched that 2021 Copa América semifinal PSO against Colombia

In Europe French teams often suffer heartbreaking eliminations even when they dominate.

It was typical Fiorentina in the ECL. Not impressive but in the end they prevail against the underdog who plays with 10 men. Aston Villa also kind of typical, same goes for the bottlers Lille. Could have been the final.

This Villa win was totally undeserved, much-much more than Real's against City.

No. I recognize him as a very good keeper, but his behavior shouldn't be tolerated. Disgusting.

I didn't watch this match, but I'm guessing it was the same sort of antics from that Colombia game.
Sorry, but if it were, it wasn't against the laws of the game. Though it must've been different, since back in 2021, they were playing with no spectators and you could hear everthing on the pitch. Special match.

Martinez is trying hard to become a persona non grata in France

The unlikeable clown Martinez somehow wins another shootout. Must be super infuriating for the opponent team.
Olympiacos is losing 1-0 at HT after a very poor performance, they haven't threatened Fenerbahce at all. They need to ramp up the intensity because they can concede goals very easily so it's very likely the Turkish team will find another goal.
PAOK is sadly almost already out at HT, Club Brugge ripped them apart in counter-attacks, 0-2 and more big chances.

With french teams its easy. As long they dont go to PK shootout everything is fine. They just dont win in penalty shootout... Basically never.

Club Brugge have made 3-0 on agg.
Paok had nice path to reach the final in Athens, but failed.
Fenerbahçe - Olympiakos 3-3 on agg. As far as i know my team, we shall make some awkwardness between 70-80 mins and give the ticket to Olympiakos. Actually, it could be better than face Aston Villa in 180 mins.

Ah... there is a new rule. Yellow cards given during the match don't count during the penalty shootout

2x yellow stays yellow?
The ref cancelled the second. I think his assistant signalled that it was not his fault.
IIRC, there was a rule change a few years ago (2020?), YC are reset before PKSO.

Probably the program used by the site you see statistics cannot accept two yellows for the same player without the second being red.
