In Greece Kifisia is relegated to super league 2 after they lost today against already relegated PAS Giannina. Kifisia was promoted to the super league last year for the first time in their history.
PAOK is not a club. PAOK is a cultural phenomenon.
Valletta FC are relegated for the first time in their history. Could be also noted in 'Top to bottom' thread as they were European regulars since 1963 and used to have streaks of 12 and 13 seasons in Europe, most recent one ended in 2020/21.
They also had decent European results since 2009-10: they had eliminated Keflavík in 2009-10 EL, B36 Tórshavn in 2016-17 CL and F91 Dudelange in 2019-20 CL!
In Kosovo, Liria is already confirmed to be relegated, and we might have our second team, Fushë Kosova, confirmed this week as well.
Both clubs were just promoted last season but sadly couldn't handle the level of Superliga. This is becoming a concerning trend in Kosovo football, as every season at least one of the promoted clubs gets relegated. The last time all promoted clubs managed to avoid relegation was in the 2015/16 season.
Meanwhile, interesting things are happening in the First League. (For clarity, it must be noted that our First League is split into two groups; the winners of each group are automatically promoted, while the second-place teams play each other, and the winner gets to play in a Superliga play-off against the 8th placed team.)
Suhareka is leading in Group A with a 5-point margin over the 2nd placed Trepça '89. The 10 month old club is on its path to becoming the newest club to participate in the Superliga. (The current record holder is Feronikeli '74, formed in 2022.)
In Group B, it's still an open contest between Ferizaj and Prishtina e Re (previously named Shkëndija Hajvali).

Greek second division (South group):
We had Ionikos 0–2 Athens Kallithea today and Athens Kallithea is 6 points above Chania with two matches remaining (09/05/2024: Athens Kallithea vs Chania and 22/05/2024: Athens Kallithea vs Kalamata).
Athens Kallithea had lost 2-1 to Chania some weeks ago.

Suhareka really impressive with two teams in the Superliga. And one of them being European regulars.kosovo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 08:58 In Kosovo, Liria is already confirmed to be relegated, and we might have our second team, Fushë Kosova, confirmed this week as well.

When your top league has only 10 teams, 2 are relegated and one has a playoff to win, that's not really surprising.kosovo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 08:58 In Kosovo, Liria is already confirmed to be relegated, and we might have our second team, Fushë Kosova, confirmed this week as well.

Parma back to Serie A.
It was a dramatic afternoon for the second spot. Como (started the day at +1 over Venezia) won 2-1 in the added time against Cittadella after being 0-1 in the second half, while the Venezia game in Catanzaro was delayed for a while due to heavy rain. They lost 3-2 late on, so Como are now at +4 with two games to go. Promotion almost secured.

The small town of Suhareka with 11,000 residents, will now have two clubs in the Kosovar elite division (Suhareka and Ballkani).
Prishtina e Re advances in the "play-in" round, where they will face either Dinamo Ferizaj or Trepça ‘89. The winner then proceeds to the Superliga play-offs.
