It's a different vibe in the team now, definitely. Huge improvement when we compare it to the two horrible games before. I have no doubt that we easily survive the GS but then you never know. In the KO stage it's a hard path from the beginning.

I hate the new pink-purple away jerseys. For this BS, adidas deserve to lose the German NT. Even though I don't like the decision with Nike, adidas is part of German history and should have been the outfitter forever (or Puma). And Nike are not better with "ideas" like this, often even worse.

Scotland with 82% possession somehow lost at home 0-1 to Northern Ireland.

On a completely unrelated note:

With the friendly win over Uruguay, Cote d'Ivoire is now the official Unofficial Football World Champion!
Since November 2005, when Nigeria lost this prestigious title in a friendly against Romania, once again an African team to be UFWC.

Here's an unusual friendly happening right now, England C vs Nepal:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5Wu5m2KBCo

England C is comprised of the best non-league English players. England already have the Blue Tigers by the tail with 2 goals, first in the 8th minute, heading in a cross, then from a corner at '13. We have a BIG height advantage over them and are using it.

Before this game Nepal played a team drawn from the British army. It ended 0-0.

Nepal is having a tour in UK to prepare for the last two WCQ/ACQ Round 2 qualifiers, "home" against UAE and "away" against Yemen, although both will be played at a neutral venue (most likely in the Middle East) since Nepal's stadium do not meet regulations and Yemen cannot host matches. So far they have played four and lost all of them (against UAE, Yemen, and twice against Bahrain), scored zero and conceded 14. They are the only team in that round to not yet score a goal, and have no chance of advancing to WCQ final round, and will play in ACQ final round to try to qualify for 2027 AFC Asian Cup.

Thanks. I'll look into that, see if they've played anyone else or will.

England are completely dominating the match, but still 2-0. I think the majority of people watching the stream are Nepalese, the chat is full of Nepalese though full of spamming as well, and they have lots of fans in the crowd too.

Trying to think about how good the England C team might be, the promoted teams from non-league tend to do well and sometimes get double promoted, so if this is indeed the best available English non-league team, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's League One standard.

I actually went to that game yesterday and Nepal had at least half of the fans in the stadium!

It was a great atmosphere.
