in the recovery match: Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0.
For Spurs: 3rd defeat in a row in the Premier League, 4th place is 7 points away, and they have 1 game less than Aston.

1 game more not less.
Edit: I see, you've meant they've played 1 game less.
Phil Foden and Kadija Shaw win the FWA Player of the Year awards. On the article where I read the news, the first comment decried Foden's win, saying he was overhyped because he was English. There have been occasions where I might have agreed, like when Scott Parker won, but not this one. With Salah and Son having down years, De Bruyne being injured half the season (and all three past their peak), and Haaland looking human with "only" 32 goals so far, it is striking how many teams have an English player as their standout attacking player. More than at any time this century I'd say. Foden, Saka, Watkins, Gordon, Palmer, Bowen, Solanke all the best performing forward at a top half team.
Luton Town 1–1 Everton yesterday. Luton Town and Nottingham Forest are equal on points on 17th position.
Luton Town vs Fulham on the 19th will be critical! Nottingham Forest has harder matches ahead.

Is it possible that on the last MD Luton will be 1 point ahead of Nottingham, celebrate and then one week later Nottingham get 2 points back from their appeal?? Or even 1 and win the GD over Luton.

No, the outcome of the appeal will be announced next week.
(Of course, had VAR been there at that time, it may have been overturned since the goalkeeper may not have touched the ball, and that would not be a legitimate "own goal" since one cannot score directly from a throw-in.)

Birmingham City is is relegated to League One on a season Aston Villa will most likely qualify for UCL
Monumentally stupid club. Another set of American imbeciles in charge. Didn't even realise it had got so bad. They sacked John Eustace in 6th with 18pts from 11 games, and replaced him with Wayne Rooney. Rooney wasn't up to the job, collecting 10pts from 15 games, but the club was 20th so a recovery was very much possible. The following period was a mess, hiring Tony Mowbray, who quickly had to step back due to a medical issue for the rest of the season and his assistant Mark Venus took over. Venus wasn't up to the task either, so they hired Gary Rowett as interim. They collected 22pts from these last 20 games, which wasn't enough. Birmingham City are a prime example of if it aint broke, don't fix it.
Meanwhile Arsenal win 3-0 over Bournemouth to keep the pressure on City, who are at home vs Wolves tonight...

meanwhile Nottingham ahead 1-2 at Sheffield home!!
Let's see if they hold on. If yes, then they have also by far better GD than Luton Town, that means they would have a huge advantage to stay in the EPL.
Forest almost safe. The points deduction is the only reason there is a battle, the newly promoted 3 are clearly the worst teams, and the worst promoted trio seen in the PL for years.
