Unbelievable story in the Polish Cup Final. Wisła equalised in the very, very last action of the match. Wisła had a free kick on their own half and after a long ball from GK and a little mess in the box they scored! Moreover, there was a VAR check for possible offside but Wisła player was about half of inch onside. Wisła just scored another one in the ET are currently leading 2-1 in Warsaw!

This is the 1st time I have seen the 1-1 being technically before 1-2 (90+9 vs 93) :grin1:

Yep, 7 minutes were added, but Pogoń players were wasting so much time that the referee allowed Wisła to play that last action at 98:05 or something like that. Pogoń coach and other team members were protesting to technical referee for final whistle and then Wisła scored. They will complain about that after the match for sure, but in my opinion referee made a correct decision.

Wisla won the Cup, a 2nd Division team (apart from the usual suspects Vaduz) will play in Europe!

Poor Pogon remain throphyless after a dramatic finish. They were seconds away from winning the first one and against a second divison side, (though a big club in Polish football). That must hurts a lot for Pogon fans.

Currently it is very likely that they will start new season as a 2nd Division team also. They can forget about finishing in top 2 and direct promotion to Ekstraklasa. Their presence in the promotion play-offs is also very uncertain. With 4 rounds to go they are currently 5th with 1-point advantage over 7th placed Wisła Płock (teams ranked 3rd - 6th participate in the play-offs).

Semi-finals, second legs
Dinamo-Spartak 0:2
Rostov-Baltika 0:1

It was a tought match in Rostov. Baltika scored right at the beggining after a huge mistake in the home defence and that was more or less everything. Not much happened afterwards, Rostov tried something only in the last minutes, when Ronaldo hit the post, but Baltika got what they came for. Spartak won routinely against Dinamo.
